New Life Church Rugby is committed to placing Jesus at the centre of everything they do, creating a welcoming atmosphere, supporting the spiritual growth of their congregation and serving the local community through engaging events. The project needed to bring colour, type and digital presence together into one consistent identity that felt authentic to the church’s existing space and people.
Visual Identity Foundations · Colour & Type System · Website Planning & Sitemap · Wireframing · WordPress Website Design & Build · Mockup Development · Event Poster Design
A vibrant Christian community in Rugby, United Kingdom needed a foundational visual identity to support their existing logo, along with a website that could showcase their digital presence, ministries, and events in a clean, professional and easy to manage way.
Where many church brands rely on generic stock imagery and templated colour schemes, New Life Church Rugby's identity was built from their own physical space. Their USP is an authentic, lived in visual language, drawn directly from the colours and feel of the church itself, paired with clean typography that keeps everything legible and welcoming.
New Life Church had an existing logo but no broader visual identity to support it, and no website that reflected the warmth of their community. The challenge was to create a foundational identity system and a flexible WordPress website that the church team could manage and grow themselves, without losing the authentic feel of the space.
The colour palette was drawn directly from the existing decor within the church, ensuring the digital identity felt like a natural extension of the physical space rather than something imposed on top of it. Clean, legible typography was selected to prioritise readability across all platforms, from the website to printed materials. The website was planned through a clear sitemap and user flow, then wireframed and built on WordPress, giving the team a flexible, scalable platform for ongoing content updates. Event posters were designed using the same visual language, extending the identity into the church's regular community activities.
